Like a lot of sailors, I’ve read Tania Aebi’s Maiden Voyage at least twice. That book is probably responsible for about half the resale value of Contessa 26’s now. This design is based on the International Folkboat, but with a more cruising oriented interior. This one is in Mayo, just south of Annapolis, and claims to be in decent shape other than some deck lamination. With soft decks, the 5k asking price may be a bit much but a handy owner could probably get this boat back into sailing shape for not too much. I’d get rid of the steering wheel though.
